MedicOnTheRun
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is the voice of fate once again. Filling in this ominous evening for your usual host, Medicontherun. The topic for today s as extravagant as our usual host's exquisite finesse in mincing his words. First made in the 90's the uniquely named spork was made for people who are cluelessly clumsy or just can't use both their hands for meals.
Now, in lieu with modernization let me showcase our latest innovation in sporking technology.

That's all for now folks, this is the voice of fate returning you to your daily lifestyle and schedule.
MedicOnTheRun
Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to another session with the 'voice of fate'. This is a short notice you say? Well that's because Medicontherun was feverish after moving all the books last night, therefore he informed me of this draft he posted for a while.
Telling us the story of an interesting location to eat in the midst of his residential region he has left behind a short legacy of his visit to it. Without further ado, let us begin this oral rendition of his feverish work:

"
The night pulled its long shadows over my heart that night just like now, the lonely light that formed the crescent moon drew out dark and twisted feelings of loneliness and the need to meet up with a friend just for small talk. A searing pang struck across my midsection, dinner had yet to reveal itself to me and my stomach was endearing me for it. I reached out for the phone, flashes of phone numbers raced through my grey matter. Calculations raced for risks and odds, the one with the highest possibility then struck my phone in a flurry of button presses. I swear it never went through my head as i watched the number materialize on the silicone screen.

The phone came up to my ear as calculations ceased and pinpointed this number as the highest possibility. The voice answered and the result was positive. I breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to leave for a new locale.

No i would like you guys to forgive my feverish memory as i've forgotten the names of places and F&B that we had, however i do know where it is and that the food is decent for its price.
also that i would like to go there again.
so in the meantime here are the photos to ease out your pallete :)

MedicOnTheRun
ladies and gentlemen, this is the 'voice of fate' speaking. here to take over from your traditional underposting medicontherun due to his being under the weather for the past few days.
he has briefed me recently on current events and of recent endeavours, i shall now commit it to you in verbatim from what he has described to me in explicit detail :

"
Ok, i didn't manage to get my new blog resolution down properly.. (to update more often...)
so what can i say?
other than that i've always tried my level best to make every blog post count towards making the blogosphere that little bit bigger.. (yeah rite...)
so to do that i'll need a lot of vocabluary and ability to use that passive lexicon of words in my head...
That brings me to my latest haul..
i stayed up until 3am last night moving these babies out of the car (i got home at 12 midnight)
so here's some pictures of my latest library additions :)

i got them all at a steal price so i hunted them all night
even when i type this my arms are still sore from the ordeal...
i wonder how long will they take to finish ahahhaahah
laughing about it with my sister last night was good family therapy.. something we needed for a long time..
i also got to meet one of my favourite Magic™ writers Zac Hill that night, awesome fellow and an awfully good writer :)

anyway.. less of life

and more of my latest Recipe.. for a special friend.. (apparently medicontherun claims you know who you are... )

Recently a close friend of mine had some residential troubles.. and as she told me about how she could only use a pot to cook, i was reminded of the days when i also only had bare minimal to live by in campus.
so i went and confronted my mom for he impeccable ability to conjure delicious food right out of a single pot..
its a recipe she always made when the weather was cold in particular, because it tasted best when hot :) so anyway here goes my oral rendition on it..

Rice in a Pot

ingredients:
  1. RICE!!! the obvious..
  2. garlic(chopped)
  3. onions (chopped)
  4. dried shrimp(minced)
  5. long beans(cut to inch sized bits.. use your thumb for RULE OF THUMB ONLY DO NOT chop it)
  6. chinese mushroom/shitake mushrooms (sliced or diced)
  7. chinese sausage/bacon/fragrant meats u can find(sliced)
  8. minced meat(chicken or pork no beef cos beef would be too strong) best if seasoned with soya sauce, sugar and salt.
  9. spring onions for garnish (chopped)
  10. cinnamon powder for those cold days or when u need an energy boost..
instructions
  1. start off with frying the onions, garlic, and dried shrimp till they are fragrant and slightly browned(for the garlic and onions. Some people however prefer to have them only lightly fried) remember to do this in the pot.
  2. next once the onions, garlic and prawns are fragrant, put in the sausages to fry.
  3. put in the meats together with the chinese sausages to fry, until they're reasonably cooked.
  4. once you get your meat almost cooked, put in the mushrooms and beans. pour in about 2-3 tablespoons of thick soya sauce(the sweet and thick one they use for char koay teow..)
  5. season with salt and pepper and fry till fragrant/reasonably cooked.
  6. wash the rice and ad put it into the pot to boil with adequate amounts of water..(depends on your pot and amount of rice)
  7. add more oyster sauce if needed.
  8. wait till the rice is done cooking and remember to put enough salt, the water might dissolve this.
  9. when the rice is cooked mix and serve, remember that some rice will stick to the pot, so its advisable to eat and wash immediately after. Or choose to soak the pot in water for the rice to dissolve slightly bfore washing
this recipe was passed down by word of mouth so please edit the amount of ingredients to suitable proportions according to your needs
if you need a more direct set of proportions please do not hesitate to ask me :)
I hope it'll help u over come your boiled food woes dear friend... :) "
thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention, this is the 'voice of fate' signing off until we meet again on another prescheduled blog post or you can catch me on medicontherun's deviantart too. Until then, my the Fate guide you..
